A way to uninstall AVG from your computer

A way to erase AVG using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

AVG is an application offered by AVG Technologies. Frequently, users want to erase this program. This is difficult because uninstalling this by hand takes some experience related to Windows program uninstallation. One of the best EASY way to erase AVG is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around tool to optimize your system.

  • download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful program.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button

5. A list of the programs existing on the PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate AVG or simply activate the Search field and type in "AVG". If it exists on your system the AVG app will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click AVG in the list of applications, some data about the program is shown to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about AVG, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the program you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall AVG.

8. After uninstalling AVG, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong AVG that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling AVG with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your computer.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
