How to uninstall DBeaver from your PC

Several files, folders and Windows registry data can not be deleted when you remove DBeaver from your PC.

Folders left behind when you uninstall DBeaver:

• C:\Program Files\DBeaver
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\DBeaver

The files below remain on your disk by DBeaver when you uninstall it:

• C:\Program Files\DBeaver\msvcr120.dll
• C:\Program Files\DBeaver\readme.txt
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Profile 1\Local Storage\http_dbeaver.jkiss.org_0.localstorage
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Elex-tech\YAC\iDesk\icons\DBeaver_1510322351.ico

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be removed; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\dbeaver
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\DBeaver

Open regedit.exe to delete the values below from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\dbeaver\DefaultIcon\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\dbeaver\shell\open\command\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\program files\dbeaver\dbeaver.exe
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\DBeaver\DisplayName

A way to uninstall DBeaver from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

DBeaver is an application released by JKISS. Some users try to erase this application. This can be troublesome because removing this manually takes some skill related to PCs. The best SIMPLE procedure to erase DBeaver is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general utility to take care of your PC.

• download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful program.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the programs existing on the computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate DBeaver or simply click the Search feature and type in "DBeaver". If it exists on your system the DBeaver program will be found automatically. Notice that after you click DBeaver in the list of apps, some information about the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about DBeaver, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the program you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for DBeaver:

• The software company is: http://dbeaver.jkiss.org/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\DBeaver\uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove DBeaver.


8. After uninstalling DBeaver, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong DBeaver which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing DBeaver with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your PC.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
