How to uninstall Notepad++ from your system

How to remove Notepad++ with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Notepad++ is a program released by Notepad++ Team. Some users try to erase this program. This is hard because removing this by hand requires some experience related to Windows internal functioning. One of the best QUICK procedure to erase Notepad++ is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and all around utility to optimize your system.

• download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with the program's design and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows tool.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the programs installed on the computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find Notepad++ or simply click the Search field and type in "Notepad++". If it is installed on your PC the Notepad++ program will be found very quickly. When you click Notepad++ in the list , some data regarding the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding Notepad++, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the application you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Notepad++:

• The publisher is: http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Notepad++\uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Notepad++.


8. After removing Notepad++, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong Notepad++ which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
