How to uninstall Notepad++ from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Notepad++ is an application released by the software company Notepad++ Team. Sometimes, computer users try to erase this application. This can be easier said than done because doing this by hand requires some know-how related to Windows program uninstallation. One of the best QUICK way to erase Notepad++ is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around utility to optimize your system.

  • download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with the program's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good program.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool

5. All the programs installed on your computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Notepad++ or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Notepad++". The Notepad++ application will be found automatically. Notice that when you click Notepad++ in the list , some information about the application is shown to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have about Notepad++, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the program you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. accept the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Notepad++.

All the items of Notepad++ that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them.
