How to uninstall Poedit from your PC

This page contains complete information on how to remove Poedit for Windows. It was coded for Windows by Vaclav Slavik. More information on Vaclav Slavik can be found here. You can get more details about Poedit at http://poedit.net/. Poedit is commonly set up in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Poedit folder, however this location can vary a lot depending on the user's choice while installing the program. The full command line for removing Poedit is C:\Program Files (x86)\Poedit\unins000.exe. Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might get a notification for admin rights. Poedit's primary file takes about 11.60 MB (12158936 bytes) and its name is Poedit.exe.

A way to delete Poedit from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Poedit is an application released by Vaclav Slavik. Sometimes, computer users decide to erase this program. Sometimes this can be troublesome because uninstalling this by hand takes some experience related to Windows internal functioning. 3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs existing on the PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find Poedit or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Poedit". If it is installed on your PC the Poedit program will be found automatically. Notice that after you click Poedit in the list of programs, the following data about the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have about Poedit, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the program you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Poedit\unins000.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. accept the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Poedit.


8. After uninstalling Poedit, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of Poedit which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing Poedit using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your system.
