A way to uninstall Plex from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Plex is an application released by the software company Plex, Inc.. Sometimes, people choose to uninstall it. Sometimes this can be efortful because removing this manually requires some know-how regarding Windows program uninstallation. 1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and all around tool to clean your system.

  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire the program's design and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature

5. All the applications existing on the PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Plex or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Plex". If it exists on your system the Plex app will be found automatically. After you click Plex in the list , some information regarding the application is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding Plex, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the application you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. accept the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Plex.

8. After removing Plex, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong Plex which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them.
