A guide to uninstall Plex from your PC

A way to remove Plex from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Plex is an application marketed by Plex, Inc.. Frequently, people want to erase it.   • download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful system optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools category

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool

5. All the applications existing on your computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Plex or simply click the Search field and type in "Plex". The Plex program will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select Plex in the list of programs, some information about the application is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have about Plex, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the program you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Plex.

8. After removing Plex, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Plex which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Plex with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your system.
