How to uninstall Plex from your system

Plex is a Windows application. How to uninstall Plex with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Plex is a program by Plex, Inc.. Some computer users want to erase it. Sometimes this is difficult because uninstalling this manually requires some skill related to removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best SIMPLE way to erase Plex is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and general utility to clean your Windows PC.

  • download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire the program's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful program.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool

5. All the applications installed on your computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Plex or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Plex". If it exists on your system the Plex program will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click Plex in the list of applications, some information regarding the application is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding Plex, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the program you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Plex.

8. After uninstalling Plex, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong Plex which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Plex using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
