How to uninstall Plex from your PC

How to remove Plex from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Plex is a program by the software company Plex, Inc.. Sometimes, people try to erase this application. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general utility to take care of your system.

  • download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good program.

3. Press the General Tools category

5. All the programs installed on your computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Plex or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Plex". The Plex application will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select Plex in the list of applications, the following data regarding the program is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding Plex, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the program you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Plex.

8. After removing Plex, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Plex which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Plex with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
