A guide to uninstall Npcap from your computer

You can find on this page details on how to uninstall Npcap for Windows. The Windows release was developed by Nmap Project. More info about Nmap Project can be seen here. Please open https://www.npcap.org if you want to read more on Npcap on Nmap Project's page. Usually the Npcap application is to be found in the C:\Program Files\Npcap folder, depending on the user's option during install. Npcap's complete uninstall command line is C:\Program Files\Npcap\uninstall.exe. The program's main executable file is named Uninstall.exe and its approximative size is 1.08 MB (1133272 bytes).

Npcap is comprised of the following executables which take 1.37 MB (1441000 bytes) on disk:

• NPFInstall.exe (300.52 KB)
• Uninstall.exe (1.08 MB)

If you're planning to uninstall Npcap you should check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be cleaned; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

How to erase Npcap with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Npcap is a program offered by the software company Nmap Project. Sometimes, computer users want to uninstall this application. Sometimes this can be efortful because uninstalling this manually requires some experience related to Windows program uninstallation. One of the best QUICK manner to uninstall Npcap is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around tool to clean your PC.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system utility.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications existing on the PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Npcap or simply click the Search feature and type in "Npcap". If it is installed on your PC the Npcap app will be found automatically. After you select Npcap in the list of programs, the following information about the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about Npcap, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the app you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Npcap:

• The web site of the program is: https://www.npcap.org
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Npcap\uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Npcap.


8. After removing Npcap, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of Npcap which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Npcap with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.

Your Windows system will remain clean, speedy and able to serve you properly.
