How to uninstall Npcap from your computer

Npcap is a computer program. This page is comprised of details on how to uninstall it from your PC. It was developed for Windows by Nmap Project. More information on Nmap Project can be found here. Please follow https://www.npcap.org if you want to read more on Npcap on Nmap Project's website. The program is often installed in the C:\Program Files\Npcap folder (same installation drive as Windows). The entire uninstall command line for Npcap is C:\Program Files\Npcap\uninstall.exe. Npcap's main file takes around 823.59 KB (843360 bytes) and its name is Uninstall.exe.

The following executables are installed together with Npcap. They occupy about 1.36 MB (1421040 bytes) on disk.

When planning to uninstall Npcap you should check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

How to remove Npcap with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Npcap is an application offered by the software company Nmap Project. Some people try to remove it. Sometimes this is hard because doing this manually requires some advanced knowledge regarding Windows program uninstallation. One of the best EASY action to remove Npcap is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general utility to maximize the performance of your computer.

• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the applications installed on the computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Npcap or simply activate the Search field and type in "Npcap". The Npcap app will be found very quickly. When you select Npcap in the list , the following data regarding the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding Npcap, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Npcap:

• The publisher is: https://www.npcap.org
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Npcap\uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Npcap.


8. After uninstalling Npcap, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong Npcap which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing Npcap with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your PC.
