A guide to uninstall IDS from your PC

IDS is a Windows application. Read more about how to uninstall it from your computer. The Windows release was developed by JLR. Check out here for more info on JLR. The application is frequently installed in the C:\Program Files\JLR\IDS folder. How to remove IDS from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

IDS is an application by JLR. Some people want to remove it. This is efortful because performing this by hand requires some experience regarding removing Windows programs manually. The best SIMPLE practice to remove IDS is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your Windows PC.

  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful Windows tool.

3. Click on the General Tools button

4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature

5. All the programs installed on your computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find IDS or simply click the Search feature and type in "IDS". The IDS application will be found very quickly. When you click IDS in the list , the following data regarding the program is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding IDS, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the app you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove IDS.

8. After removing IDS, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong IDS that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing IDS using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your PC.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
