A guide to uninstall Chromium from your PC

Chromium is a Windows application. Read more about how to uninstall it from your PC. It is developed by The Chromium Authors. More information about The Chromium Authors can be read here. The program is usually placed in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Chromium\Application folder (same installation drive as Windows). You can remove Chromium by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Chromium\Application\73.0.3664.0\Installer\setup.exe. Note that you might be prompted for administrator rights. Chromium's main file takes around 1.77 MB (1860096 bytes) and is called chrome.exe.

Chromium is composed of the following executables which take 5.46 MB (5724160 bytes) on disk:

• chrome.exe (1.77 MB)
• chrome_proxy.exe (571.50 KB)
• notification_helper.exe (686.50 KB)
• setup.exe (2.46 MB)

A way to delete Chromium from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Chromium is an application marketed by the software company The Chromium Authors. Frequently, users want to remove this application. Sometimes this is difficult because deleting this manually takes some know-how regarding removing Windows applications by hand. The best SIMPLE way to remove Chromium is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around utility to maximize the performance of your computer.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows tool.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs installed on your computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find Chromium or simply click the Search feature and type in "Chromium". If it exists on your system the Chromium application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select Chromium in the list , the following information regarding the program is available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding Chromium, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Chromium.


8. After removing Chromium, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong Chromium that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Chromium using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your computer.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
