A guide to uninstall Chromium from your computer

Chromium is a Windows application. Read more about how to remove it from your computer. It was created for Windows by The Chromium Authors. More information about The Chromium Authors can be read here. Chromium is normally installed in the C:\UserNames\UserName\AppData\Local\Chromium\Application folder, regulated by the user's option. You can uninstall Chromium by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\UserNames\UserName\AppData\Local\Chromium\Application\103.0.5009.0\Installer\setup.exe. Note that you might get a notification for administrator rights. The program's main executable file has a size of 1.84 MB (1931264 bytes) on disk and is called chrome.exe.

The following executables are installed together with Chromium. They take about 9.84 MB (10321920 bytes) on disk.

How to erase Chromium from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Chromium is a program released by The Chromium Authors. Sometimes, people decide to erase this program. Sometimes this can be efortful because deleting this manually requires some advanced knowledge regarding Windows program uninstallation. One of the best QUICK practice to erase Chromium is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful program.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs button

5. All the applications installed on the PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Chromium or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Chromium". If it exists on your system the Chromium application will be found very quickly. After you click Chromium in the list , the following information about the application is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have about Chromium, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the application you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Chromium.

8. After removing Chromium, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of Chromium that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Chromium with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
