How to uninstall Chromium from your PC

A way to erase Chromium using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Chromium is an application marketed by The Chromium Authors. Some users try to erase this application. Sometimes this is troublesome because uninstalling this manually requires some skill regarding removing Windows programs manually. One of the best EASY practice to erase Chromium is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around utility to clean your Windows PC.

3. Click on the General Tools button

5. A list of the applications installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Chromium or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Chromium". The Chromium app will be found automatically. When you click Chromium in the list , the following data about the application is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about Chromium, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the app you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Chromium.

8. After uninstalling Chromium, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of Chromium which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
