A way to uninstall Chromium from your computer

This page contains complete information on how to uninstall Chromium for Windows. It was coded for Windows by The Chromium Authors. More information about The Chromium Authors can be found here. Usually the Chromium program is found in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Chromium\Application directory, depending on the user's option during install. You can remove Chromium by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Chromium\Application\139.0.7258.155\Installer\setup.exe. Note that you might get a notification for admin rights. Chromium's primary file takes around 2.88 MB (3015680 bytes) and is named chrome.exe.

The following executables are incorporated in Chromium. They occupy 12.22 MB (12814848 bytes) on disk.

How to remove Chromium from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find Chromium or simply activate the Search field and type in "Chromium". The Chromium program will be found very quickly. After you select Chromium in the list of applications, some information about the application is shown to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about Chromium, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the program you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. accept the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Chromium.

8. After uninstalling Chromium, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong Chromium that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them.
