How to uninstall Chromium from your PC

A way to uninstall Chromium using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Chromium is a program released by The Chromium Authors. Sometimes, people decide to erase this program. Sometimes this can be easier said than done because removing this by hand takes some know-how related to Windows internal functioning. One of the best QUICK practice to erase Chromium is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and general tool to take care of your Windows PC.

  • download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature

5. A list of the applications existing on the computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Chromium or simply activate the Search field and type in "Chromium". If it is installed on your PC the Chromium program will be found automatically. Notice that when you click Chromium in the list of apps, the following data about the application is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have about Chromium, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the program you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Chromium.

8. After removing Chromium, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of Chromium that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Chromium using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
