A guide to uninstall Brave from your PC

This web page contains detailed information on how to remove Brave for Windows. It was developed for Windows by Brave Software. Further information on Brave Software can be found here. The program is usually installed in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\brave folder (same installation drive as Windows). You can uninstall Brave by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\brave\Update.exe. Keep in mind that you might receive a notification for administrator rights. Brave.exe is the Brave's main executable file and it takes circa 318.98 KB (326632 bytes) on disk.

A way to erase Brave from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Brave is a program offered by the software company Brave Software. Some users want to uninstall this application. 3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the applications existing on the computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Brave or simply click the Search feature and type in "Brave". If it is installed on your PC the Brave app will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click Brave in the list of programs, the following information regarding the application is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding Brave, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Brave.


8. After uninstalling Brave, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of Brave which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Brave with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your system.
