A way to uninstall Brave from your computer

Brave is a Windows application. Read more about how to remove it from your PC. It was coded for Windows by Brave Software. Further information on Brave Software can be seen here. Brave is commonly installed in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\brave directory, however this location may vary a lot depending on the user's option while installing the program. The full command line for uninstalling Brave is C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\brave\Update.exe --uninstall. Keep in mind that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might be prompted for admin rights. Brave's primary file takes around 1.52 MB (1593856 bytes) and is named squirrel.exe.

A way to delete Brave from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Brave is a program by Brave Software. Sometimes, computer users choose to erase it. This is hard because performing this manually requires some knowledge related to removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best EASY practice to erase Brave is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around tool to maximize the performance of your Windows computer.

  • download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire the program's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful program.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature

5. All the programs installed on your PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find Brave or simply click the Search field and type in "Brave". The Brave program will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click Brave in the list of programs, some data regarding the application is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding Brave, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the program you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Brave.

8. After uninstalling Brave, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of Brave that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Brave using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your PC.

Your Windows computer will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
