A guide to uninstall Brave from your computer

You can find on this page details on how to remove Brave for Windows. It was coded for Windows by Brave Software. You can read more on Brave Software or check for application updates here. Usually the Brave program is to be found in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\brave directory, depending on the user's option during setup. You can uninstall Brave by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\brave\Update.exe. Keep in mind that you might receive a notification for admin rights. Brave.exe is the Brave's main executable file and it takes about 300.81 KB (308032 bytes) on disk.

A way to remove Brave with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Brave is a program by the software company Brave Software. Sometimes, computer users want to uninstall it. This is efortful because doing this manually requires some advanced knowledge regarding removing Windows programs manually. One of the best QUICK action to uninstall Brave is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around utility to clean your system.

• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the programs existing on the PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Brave or simply activate the Search field and type in "Brave". The Brave app will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select Brave in the list , the following information regarding the application is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding Brave, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Brave.


8. After uninstalling Brave, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Brave which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing Brave using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your PC.
