How to uninstall Brave from your system

This page contains complete information on how to uninstall Brave for Windows. The Windows version was developed by Brave Software. You can find out more on Brave Software or check for application updates here. The application is often placed in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\brave folder (same installation drive as Windows). You can uninstall Brave by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\brave\Update.exe. Note that you might be prompted for administrator rights. Brave's main file takes around 316.31 KB (323904 bytes) and is called Brave.exe.

How to uninstall Brave with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Brave is a program released by the software company Brave Software. Some users choose to uninstall it. Sometimes this can be easier said than done because doing this by hand takes some experience related to removing Windows applications by hand. 3. Press the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the applications installed on your PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Brave or simply click the Search feature and type in "Brave". If it exists on your system the Brave app will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click Brave in the list of applications, the following data regarding the application is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding Brave, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the application you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. accept the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Brave.

All the items that belong Brave which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
