How to uninstall MX5 from your system

MX5 is a Windows application. If you're planning to uninstall MX5 you should check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be cleaned; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Maxthon5

Additional values that are not removed:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\MxService\ImagePath

A way to delete MX5 using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

MX5 is an application released by the software company Maxthon International Limited. Some users choose to uninstall this application. Sometimes this can be troublesome because deleting this by hand takes some advanced knowledge regarding Windows internal functioning. The best EASY solution to uninstall MX5 is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:

• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire the program's design and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows tool.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the applications existing on your computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find MX5 or simply activate the Search field and type in "MX5". If it exists on your system the MX5 app will be found very quickly. After you click MX5 in the list of applications, some information regarding the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding MX5, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. accept the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall MX5.


8. After uninstalling MX5, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong MX5 that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them.
