How to remove MX5 using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

MX5 is a program marketed by Maxthon International Limited. Some users try to uninstall this program. Sometimes this is easier said than done because doing this by hand takes some skill related to Windows program uninstallation. One of the best EASY way to uninstall MX5 is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around tool to maximize the performance of your Windows system.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows tool.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs installed on your computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate MX5 or simply activate the Search feature and type in "MX5". The MX5 program will be found automatically. Notice that when you click MX5 in the list of programs, some data about the program is available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about MX5, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the app you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for MX5:

• The publisher is: http://www.maxthon.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Maxthon5\Bin\MxUninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove MX5.


8. After removing MX5, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of MX5 which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing MX5 with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
