A guide to uninstall MX5 from your PC

MX5 is a software application. How to remove MX5 from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

MX5 is a program offered by the software company Maxthon International Limited. Some people want to uninstall this application. Sometimes this can be difficult because performing this manually requires some skill regarding Windows internal functioning. The best SIMPLE procedure to uninstall MX5 is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around tool to clean your PC.

• go to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful system optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs existing on the PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate MX5 or simply activate the Search field and type in "MX5". If it is installed on your PC the MX5 app will be found very quickly. After you select MX5 in the list of programs, the following information regarding the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding MX5, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for MX5:

• The software company is: http://www.maxthon.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Maxthon5\Bin\MxUninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall MX5.


8. After removing MX5, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items of MX5 which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing MX5 with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your system.
