How to erase MX5 from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

MX5 is a program marketed by the software company Maxthon International Limited. Sometimes, computer users decide to uninstall this program. Sometimes this is hard because uninstalling this by hand requires some experience regarding Windows program uninstallation. The best SIMPLE action to uninstall MX5 is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around utility to clean your computer.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows tool.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the programs installed on your PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate MX5 or simply activate the Search feature and type in "MX5". If it is installed on your PC the MX5 application will be found automatically. Notice that when you select MX5 in the list of applications, some information about the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about MX5, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the app you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for MX5:

• The publisher is: http://www.maxthon.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Maxthon5\5.1.1.100\Bin\Mx3Uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove MX5.


8. After uninstalling MX5, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of MX5 that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing MX5 with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
