Some files and registry entries are typically left behind when you remove MX5.

A way to uninstall MX5 using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

MX5 is an application marketed by the software company Maxthon International Limited. Frequently, computer users choose to remove it. 2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful Windows optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the applications existing on your computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate MX5 or simply activate the Search field and type in "MX5". If it is installed on your PC the MX5 program will be found automatically. When you select MX5 in the list of applications, the following data about the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have about MX5, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the program you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall MX5.


8. After uninstalling MX5, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong MX5 that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing MX5 using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
