A way to uninstall Zotero using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Zotero is a program marketed by Corporation for Digital Scholarship. Sometimes, people want to uninstall this application. This is easier said than done because uninstalling this by hand takes some experience regarding Windows internal functioning. The best QUICK procedure to uninstall Zotero is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general utility to clean your Windows computer.

• visit Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs installed on the PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find Zotero or simply click the Search field and type in "Zotero". If it exists on your system the Zotero application will be found automatically. When you click Zotero in the list of programs, the following data regarding the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding Zotero, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Zotero:

• The software company is: https://www.zotero.org
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Zotero\uninstall\helper.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Zotero.


8. After uninstalling Zotero, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong Zotero which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Zotero with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your Windows computer will remain clean, speedy and able to serve you properly.
