A way to remove Zotero from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Zotero is an application offered by Corporation for Digital Scholarship. Sometimes, people want to erase this application. Sometimes this can be hard because deleting this manually takes some knowledge related to removing Windows applications by hand. The best EASY procedure to erase Zotero is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your PC.

• go to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful program.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs existing on the PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate Zotero or simply activate the Search field and type in "Zotero". The Zotero program will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click Zotero in the list of apps, the following data regarding the application is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding Zotero, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Zotero:

• The web site of the program is: https://www.zotero.org
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Zotero\uninstall\helper.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Zotero.


8. After uninstalling Zotero, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Zotero that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Zotero using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your system.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and able to serve you properly.
