How to delete PixInsight from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

PixInsight is a program released by Pleiades Astrophoto. Some computer users want to erase this program. Sometimes this can be troublesome because deleting this by hand requires some knowledge regarding Windows internal functioning. 1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general tool to optimize your Windows system.

  • download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire the program's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful system optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools category

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button

5. All the applications installed on the PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate PixInsight or simply activate the Search feature and type in "PixInsight". If it exists on your system the PixInsight program will be found automatically. Notice that after you click PixInsight in the list of applications, the following data about the application is available to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about PixInsight, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the application you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove PixInsight.

8. After removing PixInsight, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong PixInsight which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing PixInsight with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
