How to uninstall PixInsight from your computer

A way to erase PixInsight using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

PixInsight is an application released by Pleiades Astrophoto. Some users choose to uninstall this program. Sometimes this can be difficult because deleting this by hand takes some know-how related to Windows internal functioning. The best QUICK solution to uninstall PixInsight is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:

1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general tool to take care of your PC.

set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire the program's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system utility.

3. Press the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature

5. All the programs installed on your computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate PixInsight or simply activate the Search feature and type in "PixInsight". If it is installed on your PC the PixInsight app will be found automatically. When you select PixInsight in the list of apps, some data about the application is shown to you:

Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about PixInsight, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
Details about the app you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

8. After removing PixInsight, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of PixInsight that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing PixInsight using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your system.
