How to uninstall PixInsight from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

PixInsight is a program offered by the software company Pleiades Astrophoto. Frequently, people try to uninstall it. Sometimes this can be easier said than done because uninstalling this by hand requires some advanced knowledge related to Windows internal functioning. The best QUICK approach to uninstall PixInsight is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general utility to clean your Windows system.

• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the programs existing on the PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find PixInsight or simply click the Search field and type in "PixInsight". If it exists on your system the PixInsight app will be found automatically. After you select PixInsight in the list of apps, some information regarding the application is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding PixInsight, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall PixInsight.


8. After removing PixInsight, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of PixInsight which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling PixInsight with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your PC.
