A way to delete PixInsight from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

PixInsight is a program offered by Pleiades Astrophoto. Some people try to remove this application. This can be difficult because removing this by hand takes some knowledge regarding removing Windows programs manually. One of the best QUICK procedure to remove PixInsight is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general utility to take care of your computer.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of tools.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications existing on the computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find PixInsight or simply activate the Search field and type in "PixInsight". If it exists on your system the PixInsight program will be found very quickly. When you click PixInsight in the list of apps, some information regarding the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding PixInsight, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the application you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for PixInsight:

• The publisher is: https://pixinsight.com/
• The uninstall string is: C:\ProgramData\Caphyon\Advanced Installer\{54B3F8B9-E1E3-44A0-AA24-B61593A59E90}\PI-windows-x64-1.8.8-10-20211112-c.exe /i {54B3F8B9-E1E3-44A0-AA24-B61593A59E90} AI_UNINSTALLER_CTP=1

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove PixInsight.


8. After removing PixInsight, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong PixInsight that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing PixInsight with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to run without errors or problems.
