A guide to uninstall Grammarly from your system

This web page contains detailed information on how to uninstall Grammarly for Windows. It is made by Grammarly. You can find out more on Grammarly or check for application updates here. The application is often located in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\GrammarlyForWindows directory (same installation drive as Windows). Grammarly's full uninstall command line is C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\GrammarlyForWindows\Update.exe. GrammarlyForWindows.exe is the programs's main file and it takes circa 280.58 KB (287312 bytes) on disk.

A way to remove Grammarly with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Grammarly is a program by the software company Grammarly. Some users decide to uninstall this program. Sometimes this can be difficult because removing this manually requires some advanced knowledge regarding PCs. The best SIMPLE approach to uninstall Grammarly is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general utility to optimize your system.

• download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful PC management program.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs installed on the PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find Grammarly or simply activate the Search field and type in "Grammarly". The Grammarly program will be found very quickly. After you select Grammarly in the list , some information regarding the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding Grammarly, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Grammarly.


8. After removing Grammarly, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong Grammarly that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Grammarly using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your system.
