How to uninstall Grammarly from your system

Grammarly is a Windows application. Read below about how to remove it from your computer. It was coded for Windows by Grammarly. More data about Grammarly can be seen here. Usually the Grammarly program is found in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\GrammarlyForWindows folder, depending on the user's option during setup. You can uninstall Grammarly by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\GrammarlyForWindows\Update.exe. Keep in mind that you might be prompted for admin rights. The application's main executable file has a size of 441.55 KB (452152 bytes) on disk and is labeled GrammarlyForWindows.exe.

How to erase Grammarly from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Grammarly is a program released by the software company Grammarly. Sometimes, people try to remove this program. This is efortful because deleting this manually takes some experience related to Windows program uninstallation. One of the best SIMPLE manner to remove Grammarly is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and general utility to optimize your PC.

  • download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good PC management program.

3. Click on the General Tools category

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Grammarly or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Grammarly". If it is installed on your PC the Grammarly application will be found very quickly. When you click Grammarly in the list of apps, some data regarding the program is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding Grammarly, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the program you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Grammarly.

8. After removing Grammarly, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Grammarly which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
