A guide to uninstall CodeLite from your computer

Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may get a notification for administrator rights. CodeLite's primary file takes around 9.86 MB (10337808 bytes) and its name is codelite.exe.

How to erase CodeLite using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

CodeLite is an application released by Eran Ifrah. Sometimes, users want to uninstall this program. This is easier said than done because performing this by hand requires some advanced knowledge regarding removing Windows programs manually. The best QUICK practice to uninstall CodeLite is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general utility to take care of your PC.

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate CodeLite or simply click the Search feature and type in "CodeLite". If it exists on your system the CodeLite application will be found automatically. When you click CodeLite in the list of programs, some data regarding the application is available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding CodeLite, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for CodeLite:

• The web site of the application is: http://codelite.org
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\CodeLite\unins000.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall CodeLite.


8. After uninstalling CodeLite, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of CodeLite which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them.
