How to uninstall CodeLite from your PC

A way to remove CodeLite from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

CodeLite is an application offered by Eran Ifrah. Sometimes, users decide to remove it. This can be easier said than done because uninstalling this manually takes some experience related to Windows program uninstallation. One of the best SIMPLE approach to remove CodeLite is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and all around utility to optimize your Windows computer.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system utility.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications existing on your PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find CodeLite or simply click the Search feature and type in "CodeLite". The CodeLite application will be found automatically. Notice that when you select CodeLite in the list of applications, some data regarding the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding CodeLite, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the application you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for CodeLite:

• The web site of the program is: http://codelite.org
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\CodeLite\unins000.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall CodeLite.


8. After removing CodeLite, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong CodeLite which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling CodeLite with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
