A way to uninstall CodeLite from your PC

This page contains detailed information on how to uninstall CodeLite for Windows. It was coded for Windows by Eran Ifrah. Take a look here for more details on Eran Ifrah. Please follow http://codelite.org if you want to read more on CodeLite on Eran Ifrah's website. Usually the CodeLite application is found in the C:\Program Files (x86)\CodeLite directory, depending on the user's option during install. The full command line for removing CodeLite is C:\Program Files (x86)\CodeLite\unins000.exe. Keep in mind that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might receive a notification for admin rights. codelite.exe is the programs's main file and it takes around 7.15 MB (7499264 bytes) on disk.

How to uninstall CodeLite with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

CodeLite is a program released by Eran Ifrah. Some people try to erase this program. This is efortful because uninstalling this manually requires some knowledge related to Windows internal functioning. The best EASY way to erase CodeLite is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general utility to maximize the performance of your Windows computer.

• visit Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows tool.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the applications existing on the PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find CodeLite or simply activate the Search feature and type in "CodeLite". The CodeLite program will be found very quickly. When you select CodeLite in the list of apps, some data regarding the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding CodeLite, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for CodeLite:

• The web site of the application is: http://codelite.org
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\CodeLite\unins000.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. accept the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall CodeLite.


8. After removing CodeLite, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of CodeLite which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling CodeLite with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your Windows system will remain clean, speedy and ready to serve you properly.
