How to uninstall Autopsy from your computer

Autopsy is a software application. How to delete Autopsy using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Autopsy is a program marketed by The Sleuth Kit. Sometimes, computer users try to uninstall this program. This is efortful because uninstalling this manually takes some advanced knowledge related to Windows internal functioning. One of the best EASY procedure to uninstall Autopsy is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general utility to optimize your Windows computer.

• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications existing on your computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate Autopsy or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Autopsy". If it exists on your system the Autopsy application will be found automatically. Notice that when you select Autopsy in the list of apps, the following information about the application is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have about Autopsy, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. accept the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Autopsy.


8. After uninstalling Autopsy, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of Autopsy that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing Autopsy with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and ready to run without errors or problems.
