How to uninstall Autopsy from your computer

Autopsy is a software application. This page contains details on how to remove it from your computer. It was coded for Windows by The Sleuth Kit. Further information on The Sleuth Kit can be found here. More details about the software Autopsy can be found at http://www.sleuthkit.org/. The program is often installed in the C:\Program Files\Autopsy-4.0.0 directory (same installation drive as Windows). You can remove Autopsy by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line MsiExec.exe /I{AC74A3B4-98C4-48D6-B7B6-60C415727FB9}. Note that you might be prompted for administrator rights. app64.exe is the programs's main file and it takes approximately 1.33 MB (1392986 bytes) on disk.

How to delete Autopsy with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Autopsy is a program marketed by the software company The Sleuth Kit. Some users want to uninstall this program. Sometimes this is efortful because uninstalling this by hand requires some experience regarding Windows internal functioning. One of the best QUICK way to uninstall Autopsy is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and general utility to optimize your PC.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the applications existing on your PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Autopsy or simply click the Search feature and type in "Autopsy". If it is installed on your PC the Autopsy app will be found very quickly. After you click Autopsy in the list of programs, the following data about the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have about Autopsy, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the application you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Autopsy.


8. After removing Autopsy, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of Autopsy that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing Autopsy with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your system.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and able to serve you properly.
