How to delete Autopsy from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Autopsy is an application offered by the software company The Sleuth Kit. Sometimes, computer users choose to erase this program. Sometimes this is easier said than done because performing this manually takes some experience regarding Windows program uninstallation. One of the best SIMPLE practice to erase Autopsy is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and general tool to maximize the performance of your Windows PC.

  • go to Download Link
  • download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful PC management program.

3. Click on the General Tools button

4. Press the Uninstall Programs button

5. All the applications installed on the PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Autopsy or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Autopsy". If it exists on your system the Autopsy application will be found automatically. Notice that after you select Autopsy in the list of apps, the following information about the application is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about Autopsy, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the program you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Autopsy.

8. After uninstalling Autopsy, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Autopsy which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Autopsy with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
