Autopsy is usually set up in the C:\Program Files\Autopsy-4.5.0 folder, however this location can differ a lot depending on the user's decision while installing the application. The full command line for removing Autopsy is MsiExec.exe /I{B8CEB800-BBB1-457A-BE41-8061F4A8085A}. Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might get a notification for admin rights. The application's main executable file occupies 1.33 MB (1392986 bytes) on disk and is called app64.exe.

A way to erase Autopsy from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO
Autopsy is an application offered by The Sleuth Kit. Frequently, users choose to uninstall this program. This is troublesome because deleting this by hand takes some skill regarding PCs. One of the best EASY manner to uninstall Autopsy is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:
1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around tool to clean your PC.

- download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
- set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system optimizer.
3. Click on the General Tools button

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool

5. A list of the applications existing on the PC will be made available to you
6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Autopsy or simply activate the Search field and type in "Autopsy". If it is installed on your PC the Autopsy application will be found automatically. When you select Autopsy in the list of apps, some data about the application is shown to you:
- Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about Autopsy, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
- Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
- Technical information about the program you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
For example you can see that for Autopsy:
- The software company is: http://www.sleuthkit.org/
- The uninstall string is: MsiExec.exe /I{B8CEB800-BBB1-457A-BE41-8061F4A8085A}
7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. accept the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Autopsy.

8. After removing Autopsy, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of Autopsy that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing Autopsy using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
Your PC will remain clean, speedy and able to serve you properly.
