A way to delete Autopsy with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Autopsy is an application by The Sleuth Kit. Some computer users try to erase this program. Sometimes this can be efortful because performing this manually requires some skill related to PCs. One of the best SIMPLE approach to erase Autopsy is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and general utility to maximize the performance of your Windows PC.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good PC management program.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the applications existing on the PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Autopsy or simply activate the Search field and type in "Autopsy". If it is installed on your PC the Autopsy application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select Autopsy in the list of programs, the following information about the application is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about Autopsy, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the app you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Autopsy:

• The software company is: http://www.sleuthkit.org/
• The uninstall string is: MsiExec.exe /I{260638D1-649C-49F2-898A-CE01A170D8B9}

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Autopsy.


8. After removing Autopsy, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Autopsy which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Autopsy with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your computer.

Your Windows system will remain clean, speedy and ready to run without errors or problems.
