A way to uninstall Toolkit from your computer

This page is about Toolkit for Windows. Keep in mind that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may be prompted for administrator rights. Toolkit.exe is the programs's main file and it takes around 1.53 MB (1599512 bytes) on disk.

A way to erase Toolkit with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Toolkit is a program offered by Seagate. Some users choose to erase it. This can be hard because removing this manually takes some advanced knowledge regarding removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best EASY solution to erase Toolkit is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general utility to clean your computer.

• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications existing on your PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Toolkit or simply activate the Search field and type in "Toolkit". If it is installed on your PC the Toolkit program will be found automatically. When you select Toolkit in the list , some information regarding the application is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding Toolkit, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the application you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. accept the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Toolkit.


8. After removing Toolkit, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Toolkit that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Toolkit using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
