How to uninstall Toolkit from your computer

Keep in mind that you might be prompted for administrator rights. Toolkit.exe is the Toolkit's main executable file and it occupies circa 1.54 MB (1611800 bytes) on disk.

How to delete Toolkit from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Toolkit is an application marketed by the software company Seagate. Sometimes, computer users try to remove this program. This is easier said than done because performing this manually takes some know-how regarding removing Windows programs manually. One of the best EASY practice to remove Toolkit is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around utility to clean your PC.

  • download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good PC management program.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs button

5. A list of the applications installed on your computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Toolkit or simply click the Search feature and type in "Toolkit". If it exists on your system the Toolkit program will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select Toolkit in the list of programs, the following data regarding the application is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding Toolkit, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the application you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Toolkit.

8. After removing Toolkit, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of Toolkit which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Toolkit using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your system.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and ready to run without errors or problems.
