How to uninstall Toolkit from your computer

Toolkit is a Windows application. Read below about how to uninstall it from your computer. It was developed for Windows by Seagate. Additional info about Seagate can be found here. The program is frequently located in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Toolkit folder (same installation drive as Windows). You can remove Toolkit by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files (x86)\Toolkit\uninstaller.exe. Note that you might get a notification for admin rights. Toolkit.exe is the programs's main file and it takes around 1.55 MB (1622080 bytes) on disk.

How to uninstall Toolkit using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Toolkit is an application released by the software company Seagate. Sometimes, users decide to erase this program. This can be efortful because deleting this manually takes some advanced knowledge regarding removing Windows programs manually. One of the best EASY solution to erase Toolkit is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around utility to maximize the performance of your PC.

  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of tools.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button

5. All the applications installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Toolkit or simply click the Search feature and type in "Toolkit". The Toolkit application will be found automatically. After you select Toolkit in the list of applications, the following data regarding the program is available to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding Toolkit, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the program you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Toolkit.

8. After removing Toolkit, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of Toolkit which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
