Following the uninstall process, the application leaves some files behind on the computer. Some of these are shown below.
The files below were left behind on your disk when you remove Throttle:
- C:\Program Files\MsEdgeCrashpad\throttle_store.dat
- C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\Crashpad\throttle_store.dat
You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be uninstalled; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Throttle_is1
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\PGWARE\Throttle
A way to uninstall Throttle with Advanced Uninstaller PRO
Throttle is an application released by PGWARE LLC. Sometimes, computer users choose to erase this application. 3. Click on the General Tools button
4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool
5. A list of the applications installed on your computer will appear
6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Throttle or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Throttle". If it is installed on your PC the Throttle program will be found automatically. Notice that after you click Throttle in the list of apps, the following data regarding the application is shown to you:
- Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding Throttle, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
- Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
- Technical information regarding the program you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

8. After removing Throttle, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of Throttle which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Throttle using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your system.
