How to uninstall Spotify from your PC

Spotify is a software application. Note that you might receive a notification for admin rights. Spotify.exe is the programs's main file and it takes around 22.82 MB (23924352 bytes) on disk.

How to erase Spotify from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Spotify is an application offered by the software company Spotify AB. Sometimes, computer users choose to remove this application. Sometimes this is troublesome because uninstalling this manually requires some skill related to PCs. One of the best SIMPLE practice to remove Spotify is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around tool to clean your system.

  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of tools.

3. Click on the General Tools button

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button

5. A list of the programs existing on your PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find Spotify or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Spotify". If it exists on your system the Spotify application will be found automatically. After you select Spotify in the list of programs, the following data about the program is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about Spotify, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the app you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

  • The uninstall string is: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Spotify\Spotify.exe
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Spotify.

8. After uninstalling Spotify, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of Spotify that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing Spotify using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your PC.
