A way to uninstall Spotify from your PC

Spotify is comprised of the following executables which occupy 5.46 MB (5726208 bytes) on disk:

If you are manually uninstalling Spotify we advise you to check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Directories that were found:
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Spotify
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Spotify

Check for and delete the following files from your disk when you uninstall Spotify:
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Spotify\Browser\data_0
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Spotify\Browser\data_1
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Spotify\Browser\data_2
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Spotify\Browser\data_3

Generally the following registry keys will not be uninstalled:
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Clementine\Clementine\Spotify

Additional registry values that you should clean:

How to erase Spotify from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

3. Press the General Tools category

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate Spotify or simply click the Search feature and type in "Spotify". If it exists on your system the Spotify application will be found very quickly. When you click Spotify in the list of programs, the following information about the application is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have about Spotify, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the application you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

  • The publisher is: http://www.spotify.com
  • The uninstall string is: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Spotify\Spotify.exe
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Spotify.
