A way to uninstall Spotify from your PC

Spotify is comprised of the following executables which occupy 5.46 MB (5726208 bytes) on disk:

If you are manually uninstalling Spotify we advise you to check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Directories that were found:
  • C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Spotify
  • C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Spotify

Check for and delete the following files from your disk when you uninstall Spotify:
  • C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Spotify\Browser\data_0
  • C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Spotify\Browser\data_1
  • C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Spotify\Browser\data_2
  • C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Spotify\Browser\data_3

Generally the following registry keys will not be uninstalled:
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Clementine\Clementine\Spotify

Additional registry values that you should clean:

How to erase Spotify from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Spotify is a program released by Spotify AB. Some people decide to uninstall it. When you select Spotify in the list of programs, some information regarding the program is available to you:

  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding Spotify, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the app you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Spotify.
