How to uninstall Spotify from your PC

How to uninstall Spotify from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Spotify is an application offered by the software company Spotify AB. Some users decide to remove it. Sometimes this is troublesome because doing this manually requires some know-how related to Windows internal functioning. The best SIMPLE procedure to remove Spotify is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your PC.

  • download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system utility.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button

5. All the applications existing on your PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Spotify or simply activate the Search field and type in "Spotify". If it exists on your system the Spotify app will be found automatically. When you select Spotify in the list of apps, the following data regarding the application is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding Spotify, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the app you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. accept the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Spotify.

8. After uninstalling Spotify, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of Spotify that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
