How to delete PowerDirector with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

PowerDirector is an application offered by the software company CyberLink Corp.. Sometimes, computer users decide to remove this program. This can be easier said than done because performing this manually takes some advanced knowledge regarding Windows internal functioning. One of the best EASY procedure to remove PowerDirector is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:

1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and general utility to clean your Windows system.

set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows tool.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Press the Uninstall Programs button

5. A list of the applications installed on your computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate PowerDirector or simply activate the Search feature and type in "PowerDirector". If it exists on your system the PowerDirector application will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click PowerDirector in the list of programs, some data regarding the application is available to you:

Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding PowerDirector, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
Technical information regarding the app you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

8. After uninstalling PowerDirector, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items of PowerDirector that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling PowerDirector with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your Windows computer will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
